Komen Puget Sound benefactors and friends celebrated ten years of the Grace Notes Gala at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel on March 5, 2016 raising more than $715,000 to help women and families in our community.

Attended by hundreds of civic and business leaders, the event spotlighted breast cancer survivors Christine Lasley and Kathleen Sutton, who shared their inspiring stories. Ford Motor Company was honored for its service to Komen, and KING 5’s Jean Enersen narrated a video tribute to Grace Notes honorees of years past, including Komen Puget Sound founder C.J. Taylor.

Seventy-five percent of funds raised through Grace Notes provides free mammograms and patient services to those in need in Western Washington, and twenty-five percent goes to breast cancer research to improve breast cancer diagnosis, treatments and steps toward a cure.
