Join us this October 4, 2017 at Tacoma’s beautiful Hotel Murano for the Susan G. Komen Puget Sound Lunch for the Cure! This annual luncheon and silent auction benefits local women and families in need while advancing research to end breast cancer.
Register today to hear about groundbreaking science, be inspired by a remarkable young survivor, and meet and mingle with others who share your passion for making an impact against breast cancer.
Featured speakers include:
- Dr. Nora Disis, a Komen-funded researcher at the University of Washington, who is developing a vaccine to reduce the incidence of breast cancer among certain groups of women.
- Sarah Lien who, after losing two family members to breast cancer and being diagnosed with the disease at age 24, has become a passionate volunteer, survivor advocate and mother of four. See her 2014 interview on NBC’s TODAY.
Our event emcee is Brooke Fox, co-host of MOViN 92.5’s “Brooke and Jubal in the Morning” and longtime Komen fundraiser, volunteer and advocate.
If you cannot attend, please consider making a donation to continue our critical work in the South Sound.
